After Hurricane Irma visted our area, the water from East Lake Toho got quite a bit higher. I was able to catch a shot of the bird you see. It was standing there peacefully enjoying the evening just before sunset. I just thought it was beautiful and wanted to share it with you. So enjoy. I'll be posting again soon.

Long Absence!
So sorry for the long absence from this blog. I've had a very busy summer so far. I'm hoping for it to calm down greatly pretty soon. You know, life presents us with problems and sometimes it takes awhile to work them all out. These challenges can shape your life in ways you would not have thought. I'm hoping positives will come out of the challenges presented in my life this summer. Even is we decide not to move forward, time itself forces those changes.
I'm posting this using my sisters computer as mine is in storage for a short time. Stop by again and see what new things have happened in my life. Thanks.

The Beauty of Simplicity
I usually go out each morning trying to find something of beauty in my world. One of the large lakes in our area has such beauty and tranquility about it, I visit each day. I've watched the seasons do their magic on the land and water and plants as well as animals.
The other day I noticed that our small trees around the lake are finally getting their green leaves on them. After the last couple of years with cold weather and then no winter this year, I thought they would not blossom at all. But, happily the trees and such are getting green and thriving. So when I saw this little tree in all it's simplicity and beauty, I had to capture it on picture.
Nature is so fragile, just like life that I see and feel so much wonder in it all. I am definitely going to watch the progress of this little tree throughout the spring and summer and see how full of leaves it gets. I'm sure it will be full, green and abundant through the seasons. Amazing.

Cool Drink Of The Day!
Was out taking care of stuff today and rewarded myself with a grande Iced Latte from Starbucks. It was so refreshing.
I'm not a coffee lover by far, but since Starbucks does not offer black tea in decaf or even Chai in decaf, I must resort to drinking coffee. In order to catch a refreshing drink from them, I take a grande Iced Latte, decaf, soy, sugar free caramel to have that cool drink while out and about.
It's a great drink and one that I've come to love. I enjoyed it today and thought you'd like to know how I take my Starbucks!!! Enjoy! So far, that's part of my day.

Blooming Flowers Already
I found this pretty scene while about on Lakeshore drive. It's really vibrant and pretty. I like the different textures and colors in the picture.
It's been a rather busy time for me. Trying to get work done on my company and writing. Time moves so quickly sometimes you feel like you just start your day and find it's time to call it a day.
Have been happy to have my grandson spend two Friday nights in a row with us. Last night my sister and I took him to the Barnes & Noble and he picked out several books he can pretty much read. Some with a bit of help but others pretty much alone. I'm so happy and proud of him. He's only six years old and in Kindergarten. He's doing great so far. He recently changed from a private school to the public school and seems to like it much better. Who knows, he may do better in the public system than the one he was in so far.
Well, hubby will be home overnight so I'll be busy with him. I'll stop bye soon.

A New Year !
Imagine the possibilities!!
The new year is 16 days old and it's been a very busy one so far. Our goals sometimes take the back seat yet call out reminding us of that promised goal we made for the new year. Even if you've fallen short so far, step back, look about and then move forward towards your goals for the year.
Back to work on Tide Dancer Publications to make it a much greater company for authors. Back to working on my books so they can be published. Working within a critique group so the manuscripts will be polished and shining ready for publication.
Starting to be healthier by taking off some weight and exercising this year. I've a lot I want to accomplish and this is one small step towards reaching that goal.
So, glass raised to a New Year with new starts and expectations. Stop by again.
